Child First | Services
We provide a range of comprehensive pediatric therapy services tailored to your child’s needs—from initial consultations to ongoing and intensive therapy programs.
-
Screening
Initial occupational therapy starts with a brief screening—either by phone or in person—to understand your child's concerns. The therapist chooses the best method to gather information about your child's medical history and development. This helps decide if therapy might be helpful.
This screening is not a full evaluation, but it can be the first step toward one.
-
Comprehensive Evaluation
Child First Therapy provides outpatient assessments to understand your child’s strengths and challenges. These look at how your child functions at home, school, and in daily life.
The results help create a personalized plan to support your child’s growth and participation.
-
One-on-One Therapy Sessions
Once the plan is set, sessions begin. Each session is guided by what works best for your child—there is no one size fits all approach.
We regularly track progress to make sure therapy is effective and your child continues to improve.
-
Groups
Group sessions create a supportive environment for children to practice skills learned in individual therapy while engaging with peers. Peer-based learning is highly valuable, as children often gain insight and motivation by observing others.
-
Presentations
Child First is dedicated to supporting as many children as possible by raising awareness about occupational therapy and child development. To accomplish this, we provide educational in-services to healthcare providers, schools, dental offices, and extracurricular programs.
-
Working Together for Your Child
At Child First, we collaborate with other professionals, like physical and speech therapists, physicians, psychologists, and teachers, to support your child's physical, emotional, and educational needs. This ensures that your child receives consistent care and the best chance for success, regardless of their environment.
